Why did EOW sign you?: To answer that question, we need to go back. Once upon a time, a twenty one year old Sasha Pemberton got her first break in the professional wrestling industry, when she landed a contract with River City Wrestling, a regional organization based out of Tennessee. The year was 2005, and Sasha began training with "The Grinder" Wade Grimes, who had made a name for himself since he first hit the scene seven years earlier. He started out as Sasha's mentor, and as her success grew, the two became close, and then became a thing.
Wade opted out of several offers to move up to the big leagues to remain by Sasha's side on the regional circuit-- although Sasha would always insist that she never asked him to do that when he incessantly threw that point in her face. The two became a tag team sensation. Their out of the ring chemistry carried over into the ring, and they soon dominated, capturing the River City Wrestling tag team titles by 2007. They married that year. The next five years were the glory years, and Sasha and the Grinder were their own wrestling dynasty-- at least within the regional circuit.
2012 was a draining year for the couple. Sasha really began coming into her own, and for the first time recognizing her own identity-- something apart from "The Grinder's Girl." As the wins became repetitive, her husband seemed to lose some of the enthusiasm. Perhaps it's because he was passed his prime. But Sasha was just hitting her stride, young, sexy, and suddenly, the center of a lot of attention and accolation. She liked it, and there was no way that wet mop of a husband of hers was going to bring her down.
She loved everything about the sport that he loathed-- the glitz, the glamour, the flash. The elaborate spectacal entrances and the press conferences afterwards.
Sasha Pemberton became a diva.
She became Sasha Wilde.
It began to drive her husband crazy, and Sasha knows that it ultimately drove him to that bitch. And so call it fate, karma, whatever, when Wade's skull formed a mouth to eat steel on that night in Chattanooga, he got what was coming to him, as far as Sasha was concerned.
Sasha and Wade disappeared after that event. They announced a sabbatical to work on their marriage. For a while, the speculation over whether they would make it as a couple, and whether they would make a comeback, remained a topic of conversation within the industry, at least on the regional level. But as time passed, and new blood surfaced, they had all but been forgotten.
She was going to leave. Oh, was she going to leave. And if she didn't leave, he would. If it was not for aunt Phyllis and uncle Max, and their refusal to bless a divorce between the two under any circmstances-- they were the source of their wealth, and therefore wielded great power in the form of financial stability-- the two would have been living as far away from each other as possible. And so there they were, stuck in hell, living together, a mutual loathing that would only increase over time.
So Sasha did what any self-respecting woman would do in an effort to change things up on her marriage.
She got knocked up.
Our story picks up four years later, as we catch up on and finally answers the question of what happened to the once-promising duo of Wade Grimes and Sasha Wilde.

Personality Overview: Sasha is determined. She shares the same bitterness and resentment for her husband Wade has for her, only she has hit the breaking point, and is not going to allow her best years be taken from her. It is her decision to return to the sport that serves as the springboard for our story. She is passionate. She wants to live life to its fullest, and pursue her dream again-- even if her husband gave up on his. Putting her husband aside for a moment, Sasha could be likable; unfortunately, her husband was a pretty big "aside"-- not one so easily put away-- and his mere presence brings out the worst in Sasha, which is when her negative traits come out.
Why they’d be cheered: She's high-energy, charismatic, all about the press and the fans-- and the attention. She plays to the fans. Her in ring style, made up of high flying and high risks, brings fans to their feet.
Why they’d be booed: The wrestling purists would despise her. Also, Grinder loyalists would not welcome her too kindly.
Reasons to Compete:
