So, the Fantanasy finally speaks.
Good to finally hear your voice, Zack. I was wondering when you were going to open your mouth and address me like the man that you say that you are. Because that’s what you are, aren’t you, Zack? A man? With your beard scruff, your long hair and your obnoxious, loud-mouth attitude. It’s easy to read the signs of how much of a douche you really are.
Let me give you my own example. You’re so much of a man that you’d bring my fractured relationship and my previous alcohol addiction up against me. Nice low blow, Zack. It would prove that I was a real half-wit if I really didn’t expect them to be the first two things that my first opponent since my return to the sport would bring up. Turns out, however, that I completely expected you to bring my troubled past up against me.
But let’s talk about you, Zack, yeah? Since I’m in the mood from it, why don’t we bring up some of your past? Why don’t we talk about your job-hunting escapades in the Big Apple? How that prior to mid-2016, nobody had heard of the name ‘Zack Fantana’ other than in recollection and passing reference. Your eight-month hiatus made sure that nobody remembered you, the fact that you had no friends, no contacts, no nothing. It must have hurt you, Zack. It must have torn someone like you to shreds. Knowing that you would have to start from the bottom and actually work your way back to the top. For someone with your attitude, with your obnoxious and grating personality, your full-of-yourself persona and the desire to have your name in lights everywhere you go, it must have forced you down into desperation.
I can imagine how you were feeling, Zack. I can imagine you working these small areas only to be told you weren’t ready yet. It must have hurt, clinging desperately to the career that made you relevant. You must have felt amazing when you received the news that the EOW were going to ‘give you a shot’. But let’s compare that to me. When I left this sport, I had contacts, I had a girlfriend who had contacts. I didn’t leave the sport behind; I took the sport with me. When I announced that I taking a sabbatical, the modelling companies jumped at the chance to have this pretty face on their magazine covers. The name Tyler Keenan became well-known across the globe. It didn’t become something that wrestling fans bring up when they think ‘I wonder what ever happened to him?’
And the main thing was, I didn’t seek out the EOW. They sought out me. I didn’t have to prove that I was ready to come back through small gigs, because I brought more than that with me. I am a company aspect, I brought news and fans to this company when I signed on the dotted line, you just brought yourself and the former career that nobody cares about.
So how’s that confidence now, Zack?
I mean, you mentioned that I’m supposed to gain your confidence if I want to manipulate you. It looks to me like you’ve fallen straight into my trap. Well, look who the confident one is now. You can talk all about my past, my alcohol troubles and you can get yourself more and more into the mindset that I’ve got nothing on you, but that just gets your confidence up to the levels where it will just become fun when I knock you down to the dirt where you belong.
Because there’s only gonna be one burial on October 9th, Zack.
And it’s gonna be yours. When I’ve got you in the centre of that ring, when I use my technical skills to lock in one of my submission holds, it won’t matter than you’re stronger and quicker than me. You might have the strength to try and power out of it, but what are you gonna do when I just lock in a more difficult one? I mean, we all know that one of your biggest weaknesses is your submission game, so what are you gonna do when it’s staring at you straight in the face and laughing as you scream.
So tell me. Are you still confident now?
