Divisions – You’d choose which of the two divisions you go into; either Full RP or Micro RP. You’ll only ever face opponents from your division and enter into feuds with those in your division.
Game Modes – You’d choose which of the two game modes you want to play under; either Full RP or Micro RP. The game mode you choose determines which type of RP you write, but does NOT determine your opponent. This means you can face anyone (I.E – micro RPers can face full RPers because the judging system covers both formats and quality beats quantity, so word count is irrelevant).
In both cases, you’ll also be able to select whether staff writes your segments or whether you write your segments. Segments are compulsory, so if you choose to write your own, you’ll be expected to actually write one every show and submit it by deadline.
In the case of every format EXCEPT FOR DIVISIONS, the Ultimate and Heavyweight Championships will be unified in a match between the two champions. The winning champion will retain their belt, while the losing champion will have their belt rendered defunct.
The format with the most votes will be the one that we adopt and push forward with. In the unlikely event of a tie, we’ll have the final say as fed-heads over which tied options we'll proceed with.

Um quick question. The word limits if you did game modes. Say I did vs a Full and I was doing micro, if I did go over the 900 word limit, would the site word limit thing work? Or would it be set to cap 4000 meaning micro people could, if they wanted to, write a bit more. How would that whole bit work?

We'd have to remove the word counter and just manually count word limits. If someone goes over, we'd either tell them and not count the RP (because they should know) or deduct 5 points from their score

Guys, just to clarify here:
In the case of every format EXCEPT FOR DIVISIONS, the Ultimate and Heavyweight Championships will be unified in a match between the two champions. The winning champion will retain their belt, while the losing champion will have their belt rendered defunct. In the case of divisions, the Ultimate title will stay in the full RP division and the Heavyweight will stay in the micro RP division.

Just gonna' put this out there, the "Game Mode" option sets us apart from every other fed. It also lets everyone RP how they want while letting us all face eachother. Very interesting concept. Hoping that one wins.

Hoping that one wins. Yes. I don't think I have seen it ever and freedom too. I like that everyone can face everyone too, so there isn't a real limit to who you can and can't face. I voted for it, so.....we'll see how it does.

Hoping that one wins. I agree. I think there could be some concern over the logistics of 900 words vs 4,000 words. For example; "A 4,000 word RP has an easier chance to make a better argument than a 900 word RP." "If a 4,000 word RP loses to a 900 word RP, the handler of that 4,000 word RP will rage over it." I think those are all valid points in other feds, but not here. We've looked at the RP scores for both Victory and Livewire over the past four shows and Victory does NOT score higher than Livewire every week, nor do Victory's best score higher than Livewire's best each week, so that dispels that notion right away. It's a mix every week, as scores vary across both shows. What that tells us is IF 4,000 word RPs give you an advantage in our scoring system (and we don't believe they do), nobody is using that advantage. With things like argument, you can only score 10 for valid points, 10 for specifics and 10 for sell anyway, so if you nail it all in your 900 words then you'll hit 10, 10, 10. You can't score more than that, no matter how many words you use or how many points you make. As for every element of content? Well, it's all relative to your word limits. It can just as easily be argued that it's HARDER to be entertaining with 4k than 900, because you have to keep the reader's attention for longer. You could go back and forth all day over advantages and disadvantages, but none of it really matters because, as I say, it's all relative to your respective word limits. As for people rage quitting over losing to 900 words? If that were the case then everything a handler preaches about quality beating quantity would be a lie. We are legit when we say that quality will beat quantity every time and this is testament to that fact. If there's anyone here who would rage out like that, they're not welcome here, regardless of who they are. So IF Game Mode does win out, all it serves to do is weed out the negative handlers, or those with potential to be negative. That can only be a GREAT thing, quite frankly.

I think we've got enough people here that trust both of you guys to know that you would score fairly. If not, like you said, we weed out the negative handlers.

Could always have handlers agreeing when one person is in the 4,000 area and the other is micro in that case agree on one type of RP a piece where 1 RP is micro and the other would be full

Personally, I find the 'Game Mode' option unique and interesting from other places I've ever joined. To me - I don't really care which word limit I have because it's all about fun. Some days I feel like writing something small and compact. Speaking for myself everything depends on story and what I want to tell as a whole. So word court isn't a problem for me. People who complain over losing to a someone who did less than them are really not seeing all factors. You could have a monster of a role-play. However, if the role-play has problems than it's still has problems, a higher word count can't fix that.

Just a minor suggestion here, Another option I would think would work, is instituting a 2k word limit all around. I wouldn't think that the 4k rp'er are always maxing out at 4k each and every time, and the 750 micro people can play a little more, but it's not overkill. And putting the rp max at 2 instead of 3, would ease the amount of writing for everybody. But maybe that's just me not wanting to write 4k, but not be limited to facing people.

The point of a micro fed though is to make valid AND entertaining points with a smaller word count. Having a 2K limit on a micro basically means it's just a regular fed. My understanding was that Micro was generally under 1K.
In all honesty, I am starting to prefer a micro format. It keeps me in check and relevant with what I'm saying. Sometimes as writers we kinda go off on tangents with things and can lose the reader.
Plus there is a CD board and I find a lot of the handlers here actually do read those pieces. It also lessens the load on our fedheads. Judge 900 words of relevant promo and just enjoy the extra pieces without scrutiny.

Geebus Mandy, bite my head off why don't you! J/K I was just offering things, but I'd much rather stay micro as well. But never mind now, I just won't speak anymore.

It's okay. I was joking. I understand the point of view.
