Victory #2 | Show Feedback

In the spirit of Trixie, I'm going to try my hand at feedback as I watch each segment/match. Well... I say match, I wrote most of them so I won't feedback on my own stuff. Just segments then. Cool.

Opening segment. It dawned on me that the fucking title match is falls count anywhere, which would have been brilliant to write. Dumbass over here wrote it as a singles match. Sincere SINCERE apologies for that. That was my error. Alright cool, Quintin Blood has Roxanne in the ring in quite an intense opening segment. I wasn't expecting that. Plenty of fuel ahead of that fight. I like it. Also does a good job of asserting Blood as a fucking weirdo. Good job to the writer(s). 

Here comes Felix and Matthew Page. Nice segment, a few chuckle worthy moments with their bullshit attitudes that are somehow endearing in a way. Assuming this is reinforcing an alliance with Page/Hartley while stirring and teasing a feud with Felix and Harper at some point? I'll look out for that. Past tense though! Naughty naughty!

Harper Riley Vs Courtney Leinart. Good, solid match. Well written by Scott (Mason). Thanks for helping out, man. The right result, I feel. Some solid spots throughout too. Oh, onto the aftermath. This, I haven't seen...

It was Harper! It was Harper Riley all along who was being poached by Livewire! Dun Dun Duuuun! Oh snap! Veto'd the fan vote! That's nasty bitch status from Valentina, told you she was no good! Harper is protesting her innocence over the whole thing but is she being truthful? Did Ernie plan on surprising her by offering her a contract? Or was she scheduled to meet him all along? Time will tell. Either way, Lemay has her view on it and Harper is public enemy number one... for now.

Next segment, uh oh, it's Kirk Collins. Why, oh why, is he divulging his info like that in front of the cameras?! Owyns could easily see it if he wants. Or if not Owyns, someone else. Clearly he hasn't learned his lesson. Oh, and at the end, there's Oddball, getting face fucked by a donut. This spells trouble for Kirk and his apology. Good storyline, this. I'm pleased we've been able to branch angles across brands.

Matthew Page and Benjamin are up next. Good, short, simple segment. Lets us know where Page is at ahead of the fight. Nothing unexpected there, really. Well written too. Good job. That's followed by Kaine and Blood. I wrote that, so we'll move on. Hope you enjoyed it.

Oh, wait! Match aftermath. Valentina again, she's really laying down the law tonight and asserting herself. Ohhhh! Bye bye win bonus and title shot for Kaine. He's lucky that's all it was. No title fight next show?! Oh damn, that's bold. Harper versus Jason instead? I wonder if that will lead to a contender match for the 4th show? Hmmm.

Oh here comes Mysti Savage... and she's stoned! Or munchied at least. Good segment, but a waste of cake at the end! For shame!

Title fight time! I wrote it and I was pleased with it up until I realised the fucking stipulation was falls count anywhere. Guys, again, I can only apologise for that. 

Here comes Felix again, lol at her cunty behaviour. She's great. I need to take a trip down to Whofuckingcaresville in the near future if she'll be there. This is definitely some good trash talk but also hyping a near-certain clash with Harper Riley in future. So Harper has two enemies right now. Lots to follow where she's concerned. Poor Hope. Maybe Jack will punch this bitch in her throat?

EDIT: (Just seen Leila's shouty message) Alright, getting to meet Drake Hardin and his property. Here's Courtney Leinart. Interesting - they have a history? Damn, Drake is a bit of a prick - I like it! Knee to the nads, poor form! Unacceptable always! She WILL pay! Good segment, setting up a storyline obviously, but that's intriguing. 

Now the match! I wrote it, no need for me to critique it. Hope you enjoyed. 

Hulu advertisement - I love those. 

Alright, apology time...oh...oh dear. Lol. I don't think anyone can be surprised by this, can they? Owyns was never going to apologise, but now what? I'll tell you what. You're going to jail. Good segment! Past tense again though. Tut tut!

Oh, jump from an in ring segment to the main event. Clunky. But that can happen when handlers pick where they put their own segments. Might need to look at that moving forward. OR! Just have handlers who sign up for segments actually write them! Novel idea.

Okay, I wrote the main event so I won't critique - again, hope you enjoyed. Glad we get to see the league graphic at the end. I figured that should be in there.

Post match with Whelan. Mr. Confident! Fair play to him, he's backed it all up so far. Ouch! Pot shots at Livewire. He's fired up and focused anyway, that lets us know where he's at in terms of this Championship Series.

Oh final scene of the show. Ah good, it needed something - like some sort of cliffhanger and it got it. How will Owyns fix this shit? Will it spill over to Livewire on Sunday? What will the backlash be from his assault? Good. 

Alright, so overall the show was decent. No falls count anywhere match as advertised (my fault) and some smashed together segments that hurt the flow ever so slightly (fault of handlers who took segments but never wrote any - bad look). But it was good otherwise. I'm invested in the Jack Owyns/Kirk Collins story. I'm invested in Harper Riley/Valentina Lemay and Harper/Hartley. I'm invested in Kaine/Lemay. I understood that it's supposed to be Blood/Kaine so that started well at the beginning of the show but it needs a little work. The choke out after the bell helped but a segment from Blood afterward may have just added something to it. Those who did bother to write their segments wrote them really well. Mason wrote a good match between Harper and Courtney. I did what I could with the other 4. We got there eventually with a team effort.

All in all, not bad. 

It certainly can't go all wrong. Anyway let me begin.

Nice setup, falls count anywhere I don't think was the one but I did forget the card except for Finn vs Page thanks to Trevor reminding me and Felix vs Jack which is what I was looking forward to.

Ooh Quinton Blood is getting some fire started with Jason. Wait what? He vanished? Victory seriously have to stop leaving cliffhangers...TRIXIE...HATES...CLIFFHANGERS!

Felix segment up, just wondering did the format change? I could have sworn last Victory Felix was red. Anyway Felix and Page I've seen getting cosy on Chatter. Manolo Blahnik! Some pricey, pricey shoes Felix. Wow, Felix is quite the girl...lol...going after Valentina for nudes....Wow, Matthew Page has some bitchy talk on him, poor Harper. Lol 11 seconds. I might have spotted a typo: PVR'd it should be DVR'd it? .Aunt Olga, and now we wait until Davey makes that an official chatter character. Ooh, Matthew with a firm hand. Still don't like him.

Harper vs Courtney. I have Harper to win on the betting slip. So lets go Harper! Trixie needs some money. Courtney has some flava' lol, taunting. Courtney with the body slam, she's doing well. No, Courtney has a dropkick. Wow Harper can fly on the ropes. Nice go Harper, frogsplashy. Lots of counting from Roland. Didn't realize Courtney could fly like that. Nice Harper! Win! One down.

Oh we have Valentina out here. OH WOW! Bad Harper trying to jump to Livewire (OR Good if You are Davey) Did not expect it to be Harper, so that was an interesting swerve. DAMN, ruthless Valentina. She is becoming quite the heel.

KIRK! Yes. Closure finally. Ooh, Kirk is a sinister snake. Oddball! He'll save the day...by that I mean help dig that 6ft hole for Kirk.

Matthew and Benny, I pictured him talking to Benny from Top cat for some reason. Hope Matthew loses because he's a cheater.

Oh Jason and Quinton are fighting? After Roxanne as well? Squeezing the skull...Game of Thrones flashback...That might be the most gruesome drop toe hold I've ever read lol. Jason's a smart fella. Rest. WHY? The same move again on the guard rail? Too violent lol, I didn't like Jason doing it on Finn, but Quinton shouldn't go to his level. Lol WOO! That's pretty damn red if it's redder than the logo. Quintin is a smart fella now, resting. Lots of nasty head shots on the apron, too violent lol. 10 Punches with a delay, Quintin is quite the showman. What! Jason didn't get powerbombed? And that's the end of the betting streak, Thank you very much Quintin Blood.....

Good metaphore though by Mysti. Kinda want her to win on that now but Connor is super Connor so go Connor. Oh and it is her match....Wait, her theme is Roxanne?....uh-oh, will Quintin be after that music too? Oh and yes, Hope! Love for Hope. and ew floor cake, camera lens cake is better but still, no thank you, had to mention that as well. Anyway match time. Wait, it wasn't booked for falls count anywhere? now it is basic? It seems the fans have already sided with Mysti, so I guess I'll do my part, playing off them. "LET'S GO CONNOR, CONNOR ROCKS!" A perfect dropkick, come on Connor! Mysti is hitting crossbodies. And I see Connor is the second guy to touch some girl booty in Victory, Page - Felix, Jacobs - Savage. Poor Connor, hurting his knee. But he can still hit! It's ok. Not quite Quintin ugly, wasn't with a guard rail Dave Darren. Booting her in the skull, no remorse lol and chops? WOOO! Savage now misses a move, like Connor did, even stevens. AA on the knee....um OOOWWW! DEAD FISH? Wow lol. Funny name for a nasty, nasty move. Mysti can't have kicked out. Mysti Method, she tried this last show. SUPER CONNOR NEVER DIES TO ANYTHING! Yeah! not even a Mysti Method. OUCH. Lands on the knees, poor Savage, I guess he's helping digest her cake. Mysti taps, well there is a lot more submissions happening since Dicky Boo Boo's discussions thread came up. Alright Valentina, show up. Oh, she's not appearing to say well done Connor, HEEL much?

Hope! Honestly we need to hire Hope to Livewire, she's just bullied. I like Felix, but talking bad to Hope like she is, we need to hire Hope to livewire. I hope Jack wins now and because she's aligned with a cheater; Matthew Page. Poor Hope.

And that match is up. I honestly need to learn the segments link into matches. Come on Jack! Lol, nice punch Jack. Yeah backbreaker! Go! Boo on the counter. Jack's gotta cut out the smack talk and work on the smacking. YEAH JACK! Slap for Hope! No powerbomb, boo, drunk Jack is hopeless for Hope revenge. Seriously Jack, how many hurricanranas do you have to take? EVERYONE IN VICTORY can fly and do flips lol. Finally an uppercut back, all those slaps should have fired him up. AND Jack is on his ass again! OUCH! a knee to the neck. KO right? No, some suplex I don't really know, but YAY! Jack wins! That was for Hope meanie.

Please win Finn! Please. YEAH FINN, ASSKICKING MODE. Take him outside and make him learn cheating against Connor has some consequence (Yeah remembered that, sorry Kirk). Poor Finn! Knees of a meanie. Boo Matthew. And he has to hit Finn while he's down, total jerk. Hands off the hair Page, Finn has way better hair. Why are the guys so mean to Finn? Guardrail and now the ring post! I feel like they hate Finn. Oh, he trash talks. Please....please Finn win. And a pose? Please......please Finn. YES! BREAK HIS JAWW FINN! That's right, do your own legsweep Finn! HE WON! YES! Take that Page you cheater. He took those 3 points from you. How'd you like them apples? Finn won! OOh the graphic. Finn and Jack on top. Alphabetical.

And Finn is probably the nicest to Hope and Soap Opera? Nothing wrong with that Finn. OOh Jack and Valentina. Wow she got to cut of Jack, he does have some stuff to do, WHICH HE SHOULD DO NOW SO I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT. CLIFFHANGERS!

I liked the show, Best match probably was Connor and Mysti for sure. I liked the chocolate cake lol but Good job to everyone who helped out, whatever you did and stuff, I can't really tell since the matches looked very similar, but great work. I didn't get to see Drake or Courtney in a segment or post match segment though, like Harper did appear at the end.
