"As much as I would like to tell what I think of Kimitsu Zombie right now, there's more important things to talk about."
Shortly after Livewire went off the air, Candy found herself being checked out inside the trainer's room. By the time cameras showed up to see what was up, Candy was sitting on one of the examining tables as she held an ice pack to her face.
"When I started to come around, I was still a bit dazed but I managed to pick up on the chatter going on around me. I heard I'd be squaring off against Ash Scion on the next Livewire."
Even with the ice pack there, you can still see the half smile that came over her face.
"Considering I practically just got here and haven't even had a singles match yet, that's pretty amazing if you ask me. It's obvious I must've done something right in my debut to get the boss's attention.", she paused for a brief moment, "And I don't plan to stop there. See, I'm very much aware of the 'contenders conversation' Ernie had earlier tonight in the ring. While my name wasn't mentioned, I've got to believe that a victory over the current EOW Atlantic Champion brings my name to the front of the list for a shot at that championship sometime in the near future. So that's what I'm shooting for here, Ash."
Candy sounded pretty serious about that as she set the ice pack aside. As she removed it, you could see the bruise on her face. Not that she was ever trying to hide it in the first place as she continued.
"I know you're not going to make that easy on me. Nor do I want you to. But I'll be ready to deal with whatever you decide to throw at me when the time comes. I'm not about to let this get inside my head.", she pointed to her marked face, "Sure, it sucks what happened to me. However, that doesn't mean I buy into what Kimitsu had to say for a single second. I know I'm good. I know I have what it takes to make something of myself in Epic Online Wrestling. Kimitsu just seems to be a bit jealous that she's taking a backseat to people like me. That's really not my fault. But she's going to find out exactly why that is when I go one on one with Ash Scion."
Her eyes remained on the camera as a determined look crossed her face.
"This is a big opportunity for me. One that I don't plan on letting slip through my fingers. So make no mistake about it, I'm going to come out of the gate swinging and do what needs to me done. So many times in the past I came up short in situations like this. But I'm not about to let that happen again. Instead, I'm going to have the fight of my life and take the Atlantic Champion down in the process. It's going to be quite the moment for me.", she paused momentarily, "I'm sure Ash will have plenty of reasons as to why my victory will never happen. All part of that champion mentality. But I'm going to have to prove her wrong if I want to come out of Livewire ahead. So I hope she's ready for that Sugar High. Because I promise she won't be leaving without it!"
Upon those words, Candy hopped down from the examining table and walked out of the room to end the scene.
