The revitalization or revival of something or someone. In simple terms, it is the art of bringing some back from the dead. It comes from the latin word 'resurgere', which means to rise again.
Metaphorically speaking, you could say that has happened to me. You could say that I have resurrected myself, especially after the things that I have been through. But I don't see that as a weakness, the fact that I have come back to this sport after a year of doing other prospects or the fact that I have had to overcome an alcohol addiction that cost me both my girlfriend and my reputation. These things are not weaknesses, these things are simply definitions of character. They strengthened my resolve, they made me a better man.
I have not changed in the nine months that I have disappeared from the sport, I am still the same Tyler Keenan that was known as one of the fastest rising stars in the sport of professional wrestling in 2015. I am still the same man that has wrestled all across America, the one that has applied his trade to the Japanese wrestling scene and the man that will soon grace the stage of EOW like no has ever done before.
I am still that man, nothing has changed.
But in order to prove that, fate has drawn me against you, Zack Fantana, the man challenging Ash Scion for the Atlantic Championship. I hope you're happy, that's a very prestigious opportunity that you've been handed there. However, right now, Fantanasy, your head needs to be focused on me. The Modern-Day Wordsmith, the First-Rate Manipulator, the one, the only, the infamous one known as Tyler Keenan. But I guess that naming all of my titles to you in an effort to impress you won't do the trick, so I guess I'll try something else.
There's no lying when I say that you've earned your chance at the spotlight, at the title that a lot of people want. But the fact is that I believe you don't have what it takes to succeed. You're too arrogant, so focused on entertainment and showboating that it will soon be your downfall. You took eight months off for concussion problems, and it wouldn't be a shot in the blue to connect the dots between the two things.
But when you get your head into the game with me, you're gonna need to know a lot of things. Number one, and this is probably gonna be a hard one for you to hear. I am one of the best submission artists in this company, I say that as a fact. There is no one in this company, in my opinion, that can beat me when it comes to extraordinary submission holds and locks. I have no equal. Now, that's a problem for you, isn't it, Fantana? Because as far as I can tell you don't have any submission experience whatsoever. You have no submission game, and it's gonna come back to bite you in the ass, trust me on that.
Number two, I'm very agile. Your showboating and your aerial death stunts might have worked against someone who moves like a tortoise and hits like a freight train, but I'm afraid you're just gonna find nothing but the canvas when you try and fly at me. You might be a bit faster than me and a bit more agile, but we're not talking but a large amount, are we stud? Nah, I don't see that as an advantage as much as you might.
There's no secret that you're stronger and hit harder than me, sure, but is that really gonna matter when you take my speed and my technical ability into affect? There's no point in you trying to stand there and hit me when I can just put you flat on your ass and twist your head in one of the most excruciating ways that I know how, and trust me when I say that I know a lot of excruciating ways to hurt people.
Oh, and let me give you a piece of advice. Don't let me get in your head.
That's a big no-no.
They call me the First-Rate Manipulator for a reason, and that's the reasoning that I can get into your head and tear you apart from the inside, piece by piece.
Don't believe me, go and do your homework.
Bare witness to the resurrection, stud.
Good luck, you'll need it.
