This is a brand new character that I put together on Friday/Saturday. When I started I had no idea what I was going to do with it so I am looking for feedback. *Note* I can't log in too often and mess around on chatter media with this one because I don't want to get carried away with him. Trying to write him kinda creeps me out. lol CDWe Make Them Their Own Worst Nightmare

I've been catching up with everything CD related after a busy week last week and then helping Leila with Victory, so today has been filled with reading, marking, designing and replying to various PMs. In any case, I've only just managed to sit down and read the CD piece. I haven't read the Victory promo yet. In fact, as I type... Hold that thought. I'll go read the Victory piece before giving feedback...
Alright, so both pieces have been read.
I can't give feedback on the Victory promo for obvious reasons (still an active judging cycle) but I figured I'd read it to see if it gave me what I wanted from the CD piece. It didn't. What I really want to know is why Quintin is the way he is and how he came to be. What happened to make him this way? Was he born like that? Does he have emotional traumas that he suffered through? What is the actual medical diagnosis of his condition? It's an interesting character, admittedly, but I find myself with more questions for you than answers for you at this stage.
I'd also strongly recommend doing your homework on MPD and the variations of the illness. It will help you capture that realistic element of the character perfectly and avoid wandering into outlandish territory that some handlers do. Those who do always end up becoming a little far-fetched and difficult to buy into. If you can do this type of character well (a task that many have tried and few have succeeded) then you'll have an instant classic on your hands.
Good luck.

I'm actually not going for MPD. There's so much controversy in terms of what MPD really is and much of the time it's misdiagnosed for a combination of some other mental disorders. I had already planned for a CD flashback of something that actually happened to a childhood friend of mine that caused something similar to what this character is going through. There's a fiction series that has this issue to an extent with a bunch of different characters having the problem, but I'm taking it to the extra step toward the reality side of it. One thing I like doing when I start writing anything is to show what we'd see if we saw this person before it becomes known why that person is that way.
The series I refer to is actually a paranormal romance series called 'Lords of the Underworld' by Gena Showalter. Not your normal romance type of thing. The Olympian gods and goddesses and the Titans are in it and it's really a good overall story. I think like 12 books actually covering the main characters.
