So, having been in Deathcore I have a general idea of how the money system works here. I'm curious as to how it will work for the first two cards as I believe winning a match earns you $300? Am I right in believing, at least on Livewire, the person who wins the Heavyweight Championship will have actually won 3 matches in one evening?

Just two. The qualifying match and then the actual World Championship in the final stage.
They survived the first stage (the elimination) but didn't win, because it's only the first section of one big match. They don't win the second fight either, because that's won by the EOW Atlantic Champion.
That could be seen as problematic or unfair given the fact they only had to RP for one match (technically) but it's all negated anyway by the championship bonus, which supersedes any other win bonus.
