Epic. It's like coming home. I wrestled my first 8 months as a pro in the legendary Epic Wrestling Organization, a promotion that while previously synonymous with the city of Toronto, had just moved it's base of operations to my hometown of NYC when I signed on. Now, nearly four years later & I'm back in New York, wrestling for a company called Epic.
Whereas I was a virtual unknown then, the same can't be said now. For years I've been tearing up the sport while trying to represent combat athletics & women's combat athletics specifically, in the very best light possible. I am one of the hardest working athletes in this sport, currently signed to four promotions. I am known for being both an attraction & an elite athlete, hence my catchphrase, #AssesInSeats & #BodiesInGraves. And last night, in Vegas, I became the first ever FSociety Wrestling Anarchy Champion, defeating 5 other athletes in a brutal TLC Main Event. Oddly enough, it's the second Anarchy title I've won this year. The first, which I won in Boardwalk Wrestling, I won on a night where I had to fight in a multi-participant Falls Count Anywhere that began with the first bell of the night & ended with the final bell of the show. Many wrestlers go their whole careers without having to fight, non-stop, from the beginning of a show right until the end. I've done this on multiple occasions in my career.
It's what makes this very unique Livewire tournament special. Because lets face it... Epic Online Wrestling is the Big Time. Anyone here has the ability to inflict damage on anyone else here. That's not even a question. Greyson will talk about his speed, Quinn will talk about his power, Trixie will talk about the armbar she just learned, and I'll talk about my elite, world-class striking. But it's all mute. Everyone involved in this event is capable of inflicting damage, one way or another. They wouldn't be here if they couldn't.
But that's not what's going to make the difference.
What will make the difference in this type of match is who can go the distance. Who can continue to dish out damage all night long, while absorbing massive amounts of damage themselves. Who can do both of those things while having the ability to recover, who can stay fresh all the way through the night. And the fact is, Black, Deveraux & Greyson come up the worst in this. All able to inflict massive damage in short bursts, these are guys who can end up gassed out over the length of a single match, let alone having to try & keep it up for an entire show. They are deadly, in short bursts, but if you have the stamina & endurance to weather that storm, they'll take themselves out of the long term equation.
Fantana, Riddle & Zombie fall into the next group. These are athletes who's stamina, endurance & recovery might never be an issue when wrestling in regular matches, but forced into the 'championship rounds' of a tournament of this nature & duration, simply don't have the staying power or the ability to regroup that some of their peers have. They could go deep, but faced with the fact that there are a number of athletes involved in the event better equipped to do so, probably won't.
Then you have Trixie, Quinn & Carlisle. These three score very high in all three of these attributes, high enough that they can make it all the way through the event, still have a degree of stamina to continue fighting by the final phase, having both absorbed & somewhat recovered from the massive amounts of damage it would have taken to get that far. It would be enough to make any of them the favorite, unless there was still another athlete who stood head & shoulders above them all in these categories.
And there is.
Ash Scion. Historically renowned for her stamina, endurance & her almost mutant-esque healing factor.
Face it... time & time again I've proven that events like this are exactly built for my specific skillset. I can go all night, and everyone knows it. I can absorb more damage that then goddamn Terminator & keep coming forward. And I heel faster than Deadpool or Wolverine. So when that Final Stage hits & that cage starts to lower, I'll still be there, and I'll be the freshest, healthiest, most prepared fighter in it. Nothing's gonna stop me.
Because none of you can.
