Hey all, just posting this for Leila as discussed earlier.
(@bryanwilliams , Connor Jacobs , Felix Hartley , Finn Whelan , Jack Owyns , Jason Kaine , @marvelous & @sensationalsavagery )
So to clarify, you can find the full details of the First ever EOW Victory card HERE.
#IC, your fighters know that their opponents will be drawn on the night in a 'Lethal Lottery' style format, meaning they could have any one of seven possible opponents. They know they'll have to beat the opponent they get randomly drawn against and then advance to the 'Championship Series' - a group of four who compete against each other in a league for points over the next 3 shows, with the top two in the league facing each other for the Ultimate Championship at EPIC 1. The losers of the 4 qualifying matches will compete in a battle royal in a "redemption challenge" where they'll compete for the Internet Championship; a belt that is defended on every single show.
So, how will winners be determined, I hear you ask. Straight-forward process.
At the deadline, Leila will collect all the highest scores of each character from their RPs and rank them in order from 1 to 8. In the show, the top 4 will be drawn against the bottom 4 in singles qualifying matches, thus ensuring that the best scoring 4 advance to the Championship Series. The bottom 4 will advance to the main event to challenge for the Internet title. The winner of that match (and new champ) will be the person who scored highest of the 4 losers (so 5th best score overall).
As you can see, there's no barriers for anyone here. The only thing stopping you from becoming numero uno (or, indeed, a champ) is you and the quality of your opponents.
Hopefully all of that makes perfect sense. In the event that any RP's tie, it'll fall to second highest score. If there isn't a 2nd piece to score, then Leila will refer to me for my input.
Thanks, and best of luck.
Davey
