Hey folks,
So in my study of Livewire contracts ahead of segment writing/story mapping, I started making notes on characters, which led me down a long path that resulted in me formulating a point-based system where face points, heel points and neutral points are given to each character based on certain sections of their application. Yes, it's nerdy.
Once I combed through all of the Livewire applications and allocated the points, I broke them up into percentages, which fascinated me so much that I couldn't help myself and did the same for Victory.
THEN I ranked them in order of category, with three categories: the FACE spectrum, the HEEL spectrum and the NEUTRAL spectrum. If you're interested, the rankings are below.

So, with those FACE and HEEL spectrums ranked in order, I then added the two numbers beside each character's name, in order to get that character's total crowd score. The lower the score, the more face they are. The higher the score, the more heel they are. (E.G - Bryan Williams = 6 (face rank) + 5 (heel rank) = 11 points total). In doing that, I put together some categories of crowd status, which I've detailed below.
CROWD STATUS TYPES
- Ultra Face (2-10 pts): fundamentally good people who always do the right thing and aim to please the crowd.
- Mild Face (11-16 pts): Generally good people, which the audience tend to get behind. Not above getting dirty or mean though, or going against the baby face grain.
- Reluctant Face (17-24 pts): Usually has more cheers than boos, either because they entertain/amuse or because they try and do good, despite having many negative traits.
- The Neutrals (25-27 pts): Polarising figures who really split opinion. They’re either loved or their loathed, depending on personal preference.
- Mild Heel (28-30 pts): Will tend to get jeered by a crowd based on their actions but can sometimes do the right thing in certain situations, albeit rarely.
- Cult Heel (31-36 pts): bad, negative people who act in their own best interests but have something about them that can draw support from a small number of fans who tend to love the bad guy.
- Ultra Heel (37-42 pts): fundamentally bad people who behave selfishly or violently for their own gains, caring little for the crowd. Total heat magnets.
With the above in mind (although the definitions are just examples), this is how people fell:
ULTRA FACE - Livewire 3, Victory 0
- Jill Lorder (2 points)
- Candy (4 points)
- Jeremiah Greyson (5 points)
MILD FACE - Livewire 3, Victory 2
- @ashfnscion (11 points)
- @bryanwilliams (11 points)
- @declanblack (13 points)
- @sensationalsavagery (13 points)
- Aidan Carlisle (14 points)
RELUCTANT FACE - Livewire 2, Victory 0
- @cyrusriddle (18 points)
- Zack Fantana (18 points)
THE NEUTRAL - Livewire 1, Victory 2
- Finn Whelan (25 points)
- Trixie (25 points)
- Courtney Leinart (26 points)
MILD HEEL - Livewire 1, Victory 1
- Jason Kaine (28 points)
- Kimitsu Zombie (29 points)
CULT HEEL - Livewire 0, Victory 2
- Jack Owyns (31 points)
- Connor Jacobs (33 points)
ULTRA HEEL - Livewire 2, Victory 2
- Dick Devereaux (37 points)
- Felix Hartley (39 points)
- Van Quinn (39 points)
- @marvelous (42 points)
So there you have it! I'd be interested to know how this ranks compared to your own idea of where your character falls. This is all based upon the information provided within your applications, so I imagine that, for the most part, it marries up with what you intended your characters to be. It'll never be an exact science but in my own mind, you've fallen exactly where I imagine you to be. Nobody sticks out as odd, given what I've read in those applications.
